Yuliia Karpets is a researcher of literature and visual art. She explores the textual, visual, and material fabrics of life during the 1920s and the early 1930s with particular attention to writing materiality and artistic sensibilities to the media and technologies. Yuliia teaches at the Department of Literature at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. In 2026, she defended her PhD in literary studies with research on modernist writing practices. She is now a research fellow at the French Research Centre in Humanities and Social Sciences (Prague).
