Adrian Matus is an editor of the Democracy and Culture section in the Review of Democracy journal. He defended his PhD in History at the European University Institute in 2022. Subsequently, he wrote a book about the hippie movement in Hungary and Romania during socialist times. From 2020 to 2022, he curated the “Communist Parties from Non-Socialist Countries” collection at the Blinken Open Society Archives, then continued researching this topic as a postdoctoral fellow at the New Europe College Bucharest.
