Oleksandra (Sasha) Kokhan is a sociologist and social anthropologist. Her latest research engages with the intersection of care, gender, and demographic ageing in smaller Ukrainian towns, focusing on the care networks among older women beyond kinship in northern Ukraine. Her research interests include value anthropology, gender studies and urban sociology in Eastern Europe.
